Laying eggs!

Category: Silkworms    —    Mar 27, 04:20 PM

The females lay hundreds of eggs in a few hours. The beautiful yellow eggs will gradually turn dark green, and eventually into a bluish gray. They will remain dormant until a few months go by. They can be stored in cool temperatures to prolong this stage until they are brought into the warmth again and will hatch into silk caterpillars.
